The United Nations Building

The title tells all. This gigantic building covers the same amount of surface area as that of Versailles. It was completed in 1936, originally to house the League of Nations, but has been home to the UN since its inception in 1946. Guided tours allow tourists into this attraction that was until recently closed to the public.

When I was visiting my aunt and uncle who used to work in this building, I got a tour and it was so incredible! My even took me to the top floor to the restaurant for lunch. We were going to visit the chocolate in the basement, but we got sidetracked at the souvenir shop. Geneva is my favourite place i nthe whole world. I\'m going back no matter what! Lots of canadian love, Bailey!
