Today is an exciting milestone for Geneva—we have closed our agreement to be acquired by Bumble Inc.! Since our founding in 2018, Geneva has been committed to building the online place to find your offline people, helping support groups and communities of all shapes and sizes. With this next move, we will be able to bring this platform to many more people looking for connection and community.

It's been humbling to hear countless stories of users around the world finding community on Geneva. They’ve met new friends, explored interests, planned events, and kept in touch all through the app. But we know there is an opportunity to bring the power of Geneva’s group platform to millions more users so they, too, can find their people.

That is why we’re joining forces with Bumble. While you may be familiar with Bumble as a dating app, its mission is much broader. For nearly a decade, Bumble has been committed to creating a world where all relationships are healthy and equitable through kind connections. They have a suite of apps that help people connect—from dating to committed relationships, friendships, and business partners.

By combining Geneva's platform with Bumble's reach in friendship and community, we believe more people will be able to find and build lasting connections.
